  • The BIG Assembly

    Pupils watched The BIG Anti Bullying assembly during their PSHCE lessons. Pupils from Year 5 were so inspired by the assembly that they created an anti-bullying club at lunch times. During the club pupils can speak to older pupils and discuss ways to stop bullying.

  • Halloween

    Over the first half term, classes were set a challenge of decorating their allotment bed with a scarecrow and spooktacular scene. Classes were able to use as many resources as they liked and could use natural materials to support their design.

  • Wear Yellow for Mental Health

    On Friday 8th October pupils and staff wore yellow to show their support for Mental Health. Pupils also learnt about how to keep a positive mental health during assembly and their PSHCE lessons.

  • Harvest Collection

    As part of our Harvest celebrations, our families and staff donated food to send to our local food bank. Year 6 pupils helped Miss Layram pack the food up into her car ready for the drop-off.

  • World Teachers Day

    On Tuesday 5th October pupils and staff celebrated all teachers in the school. Pupils and staff were asked to celebrate and thank each other during assembly time and there was also a range of sweet treats and hot drinks available at break time.

    On Friday 24th September, staff held a bake sale throughout the day. Some staff baked and others bought, but all were eaten!

    On Friday 17th September, pupils and staff donated 50p to wear jeans with their uniform to raise money to fund projects for people with genetic disorders.
