Anti-Bullying Week
This week Compass Primary Academy are supporting anti-bullying week, a campaign organised by the Anti-Bullying Alliance and supported by SafeToNet. Over the week we are raising awareness of bullying by encouraging all children, teachers and parents to take a stand throughout the year.
The theme this year is difference and equality. Our main aim is to empower our students to celebrate what makes them, and others, unique. To support the campaign we have organised a range of events that will take place throughout the week. Today we held an assembly to launch the campaign and explained to students the importance of ant-bullying. Tomorrow we have an Odd Socks day, which is designed to be fun for the children and allow them to express themselves and appreciate their individuality and uniqueness. To end the week there will be a visit from a guest speaker.
