Compass raises nearly £500 for Children in Need
Well done to everyone at Compass Primary Academy who did lots of activities to raise a grand total of £476.88 for Children in Need 2018.
Everyone got involved, thanks to the Academy Ambassadors who planned a wide range of activities.
A colouring competition was held for EYFS and KS1, while the KS2 children designed an outfit. Well done to the winners Milly-May Barber from EYFS, Faith Elrick from KS1 and KS2’s Emily Collett.
We held a cake sale on Thursday, which also featured ‘Mr Byrne's Special Challenge’, where he sat in a paddling pool of baked beans. We were amazed at how many donations there were to pour beans over his head! The week culminated in a mufti day, with students and staff wearing spots for Pudsey.
We all had a fabulous week so thank you to everyone who helped or contributed to this very worthy cause.
