Academy Ambassadors
As a school we recognise the importance of all our pupils having a voice. We have two types of academy ambassador: Junior and Senior.
Junior Ambassadors
Our Junior Ambassadors are elected by their classmates through a class election. Every week, each class will take part in a class review of a key topic decided by the Senior Ambassadors. It is the role of the Junior Ambassador to record these responses and then feed back to the Senior Ambassadors every two weeks. Our Junior Ambassadors will also be involved in the planning and implementation of charity and fundraising events.
Senior Ambassadors
Our Senior Ambassadors apply for the role via an application form/interview process. Senior Ambassadors meet with Miss Layram every two weeks and discuss the feedback from the Junior Ambassadors as well any feedback from their individual areas. Each Senior Ambassador has a specific area within our school that they focus on and work with a lead teacher. These areas are formed based on our school priorities. The Senior Ambassadors also have a termly project which they will complete over the term.
