Here at The Compass Primary Academy, school lunches are provided by Kettering Science Academy. All food is freshly prepared and cooked on site in our bespoke school kitchen.
Lunches for Key Stage 1 children (Reception, Years 1 & 2) will be Free of Charge under the Government's Universal Free School Meals (UFSM) scheme. Meals are also available to Key Stage 2 children but these are chargeable at a cost of £2.35 a day.
Meals can be booked and paid for via the Wisepay system.
Our menu has a choice of delicious lunches daily. Each choice comes with a drink and a healthy dessert. In line with the School Food Standard we limit the amount of sugar on our menus and only have cakes and biscuits on a Wednesday.
Our menus work on a four weekly rolling cycle and can be seen by clicking on the links below. We ask that the children's menu choices are decided and handed into the office a week in advance . This can be done by printing the menus below and returning to the office or by collecting menus from the office.
Some children in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 upwards) also qualify for Free School Meals due to their parents income. If you’re not sure if you child qualifies for Free School Meals, visit http://www3.northamptonshire.gov.uk/councilservices/children-families-education/schools-and-education/Pages/free-school-meals.aspx. For more information on how your child (whether in Reception, Key Stage 1 or 2) can benefit from further funding which is given for those who qualify for Free School Meals, please look at the Pupil Premium section of our website by clicking here.
If you require any assistance then please do contact the Office.
Please see the latest menu attached to the bottom of this page.
All children are encouraged to have a healthy snack during playtime. This can include fresh fruits or vegetables or a cereal bar.
We aim to be a nut free school for our children. Parents are reminded that all snacks sent into school should be nut free.
